The sculpture, dedicated to the singer Andrea Parodi, was conceived and created by sculptor Cinzia Porcheddu in 2020, at the initiative of Domenico Bazzoni, with the support of the Andrea Parodi Foundation and under the patronage of the Municipality of Porto Torres. The work evokes the shape of a musical note that takes the form of a boat and carries across the sea the sounds of our island: so much has the singer done with his voice. The cetacean tail recalls Andrea’s passion for spearfishing. The planking of the boat is represented with five cuts: the lines of the pentagram.
