The residence named Villa Pitzalis is an aristocratic, neoclassical-style residence located in the center of Tuili. The building was designed by Architect Gaetano Cima, work commissioned by the previous owners, namely the Pitzalis family. It later passed into the hands of the municipality around the 1970s. Villa Pitzalis is characterized by a single body built on the two floors at street level. You can access the Villa either from San Pietro Street, where you can also see a small oven that is used during the festival of “Su Pani Arrubiu.” The elevations are cadenced by pilasters and horizontally paced cornices, made of sandstone and volcanite, which essentially divide the villa into three distinct sectors. In addition, a special garden can be visited on the Amsicora Street entrance.
