Urban game in the Marina neighborhood. Family activities by Marco Polo Cultural Association, in collaboration with Imago Mundi Odv, Trip Sardinia and Demoela Board Games
Registration is now open for the educational family initiative of the XXVIII edition of Cagliari Monumenti Aperti. The Marco Polo Cultural Association will engage the Cagliari public in a new treasure hunt entitled ” The Dream Lurks. The adventure of Scabecciu “.
THE BACKGROUND.
1920 – Marina district. The merchant ship Malu Entu has finally returned to Cagliari after a long voyage in which it sailed the length and breadth of the Mediterranean. Scabecciu, a shipboard cook originally from the Marina, eagerly awaited this moment. As soon as he set foot on the dock, he immediately kissed land and ran to the Osteria Boccaglio where he gorged himself on fish “alla scabecciu” and went to his parents’ house to buzz with an overfull belly and the waves still in his head. That’s how, plunged into a deep sleep, he began an endless nightmare in which everything was happening. Mamma mia what a nightmare! Scabecciu cannot wake up. There is only one way to help him: enter his dream by going through the Marina, its streets and monuments, retrieve the ingredients for cooking and the magic formula that will lead him to awakening!
