The country church of the Virgin of Itria is reached by driving along the provincial road to Ussaramanna, 3 km from the village. It is located in a secluded position among cultivated fields, within a courtyard enclosed by walls. There is no definite information on the date but it is believed that it can be dated in the 16th – 17th centuries of greater Spanish prosperity. It is built in the late Gothic forms of Spanish influence and has a three-aisled basilica plan with sacristy at the back of the chancel.
