The 13th-century Pisan-style church is made of squared blocks of reddish trachyte stone. It has a single-nave plan, covered with wooden trusses, and the chancel is preceded by a round triumphal arch.
Legend has it that the reconstruction of the little church was the work of the inhabitants of one of the eight villages that gave birth to Ozieri.
